Olivet New Beginnings Leadership

Team of devoted Pastors and Leaders dedicated to reaching the community for Christ.

Pastor Bradley Fudge

Lead Pastor

Pastor Brad is a retired Navy veteran. After serving 24 years in the Navy, he moved his family to his home state of Missouri. Together with his wife, Carrie, and their seven children, they found joy in serving at their local church, Gumbo Assembly of God. It was there that Brad felt called to the ministry. Following the encouragement of his pastor, he began attending Global University and completed his minister's license. In May 2012, he was called to preach in Michigan, leading to his family's move to Charlotte, Michigan.

Since 2022, Brad has been serving at Olivet New Beginnings Church, where he continues to share his faith.

Brad and Carrie enjoy living in and serving the Olivet community, and they are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus Christ with a hurting world.

Pastor Cheryl Pickford

Associate Pastor

Originally from Jackson, Michigan, Cheryl met her husband, Steve, in her freshman year of college. They were married four years later after her graduation from Western Michigan University. The couple has two children who reside in Michigan, and three granddaughters whose sports involvement keep Cheryl and Steve on their toes as they travel to as many games as possible to cheer them on.

Steve’s career, during the time the children were of school age, focused on being a facilities launch specialist for an automotive supply company. This required moves every few years for the family as he started up new factories around North America. As a result of these frequent relocations, the children were home schooled. Once the children were in college, Cheryl received a call into Ministry and began pursuing a pastoral education through Global University and Michigan School of Ministry.

Cheryl has served through all their moves as Associate Pastor at Bethany Assembly of God in Adrian, Michigan; Sweetwater First Assembly in Sweetwater, Tennessee; and Coast City Church in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Pastor Steven Coleman

Youth, College, and Young Adult

We are Steve and Tina Coleman, and we are the Youth and Young Adult Pastors at Olivet New Beginnings. In July 2013, I rededicated my life to Christ while Tina experienced her first conversion. Since that time, we have passionately pursued God and feel called to “Bridge the Gap” between the young and the old, and the sinner to God. Part of that bridge is to develop a program for youth called Driven Ministries, and having weekly Encounter services. We believe if all youth are driven to have an encounter with God, they can reach their full potential in Christ and lead productive and thriving lives while flourishing in their families and communities.

But it does not end there. What happens when they transition to college and/or the work force. Tina and I believe there is a need to fill this “gap” in their life when they can easily get caught up in all the transition and confusion of life. This is easily rectified if they have a purpose and understand that even though life is hectic right now, God is still God and He loves them and wants what is best for them.

Since 2013 our ministry exploits have taken us from church cleaner to church planter and covered every position in between except for Senior Pastor. Tina has her master’s in Christian studies and I have a bachelor’s in Christian studies. Through 24 years of marriage, we have 3 children, 2 grandchildren, and 3 dogs.
